CHICAGO – Unicorn World, an immersive, interactive and themed event for all ages, will come to Chicago on March 10-12. The event, which includes a magical forest and animatronic unicorns, will take place at the Navy Pier.
Tickets, which are $49 per person and free for children under age 2, are being sold online in advance and will not be available for purchase at the event. To manage event flow and crowd size, time slots must be reserved. For more information about tickets, time reservations and add-on experiences, visit theunicornworld.com.
Other experiences include unicorn bounce houses, rides, face painting and professional photos. For families with very young children, a special section is available for babies and toddlers under 2 years old.
“We’re very excited to bring Unicorn World to Chicago so that its residents can experience the fun and magic of the event,” said Lauren Mines, co-founder of Unicorn World, LLC. “Patrick was born in Chicago, and we are both Notre Dame graduates, so bringing the event to the area is extra special for our family. And, as parents of young children, we know how important it is to step away from the busyness of life to build memories with family and friends and enjoy time together.”
Created and developed by husband-wife duo Patrick and Lauren Mines, Unicorn World is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for families to build memories together through themed activities, including the enchanted forest, arts and crafts activities, story time and colorful, life-sized, moving and neighing unicorns.
The Chicago event will be the fourth of its kind, following previous events in Louisville, Kentucky; Knoxville, Tennessee; and Charlotte, North Carolina. The Mines plan to take the event across the country this year, including Atlanta; Memphis; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Columbus, Ohio. Other cities also are expected to be added.
“To us, unicorns represent imagination, creativity and joy that reminds us of childhood memories,” Co-founder Patrick Mines said. “There is so much happening in the world, and we wanted to remind everyone that there is still room to celebrate and experience the magic of being a child. This event is all about building fond memories and leaving with a feeling of inspiration.”
